Equacia™ is a co-processed ingredient made of soluble gum acacia fibers and gluten-free insoluble wheat fibers. It acts as a nutritional texturizer, specifically designed to mimic fat texture and to reduce sugar content while fortifying food products with fibers.
Equacia™ does not require any heating or shearing for activation and develops its unique smooth texture immediately after dissolution in water. It is highly resistant to a wide range of pH, temperatures and processing conditions.
